Do you sometimes feel like the clay is telling you what to do? And as hard as you try, you just haven’t been able to make two identical shapes? You’re not alone. But don’t worry, Adele is here to help! This workshop is perfect for those wanting to refine their throwing skills and make multiple matching forms over and over. You will be producing matching mug sets in no time.
Session one will focus on making mugs using age-old tools to really nail the form. In the second session you will learn techniques that will redefine the way you trim and attach handles to mugs, streamlining the process from start to finish.
You will also get to keep 2-4 pieces which will be glazed in a colour of your choice and fired by us. All clay, tools and firing included - no hidden extra costs!
You must be able to attend both sessions. This class is listed as Intermediate: participants need to know how to centre clay and pull up walls by themselves.
*Workshops are for adults aged 18+ only. Teenagers aged 11+ may attend if they are booked in with a participating adult. Participants who do not the minimum age requirements will not be permitted to take part in the class and no refunds are available on the day.
