Check the dimensions of the kiln you are hiring before booking
If any of your work doesn't fit in the kiln you have hired, our staff will weigh the leftover pieces and call you with the cost amount for our General Firing Service.

All bookings must be paid in advance
We cannot confirm Private Kiln Hire bookings until the booking has been paid for. Bookings that have not been paid for can be booked over.
Work must be dropped off before 11am the date of booking
This is to allow our kiln technician enough time to load your kiln. Work dropped off after this time will not be fired on the booking day. A refund will not be provided.
Kilns can only be loaded/unloaded by an NPS staff member
It is against our policy for customers to load or unload their own private kiln hire.
All work must meet our Firing Terms & Conditions
Any work that does not meet these conditions will not be fired.
Cancellation & refund policies
A $20 fee will apply to any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
Refunds are not available for Private Kiln Hire. We can offer a rebooking or store credit if applicable.
