Valentina Palonen

Valentina Palonen

Valentina is a professional artist and trained ceramicist with over 20 years of experience. She is a former NPS Guest Artist in Residence, an experienced art technician, and is now our School Consultant, sharing her knowledge and passion for ceramics with educators and students.
Siobhán Motherway

Siobhán Motherway

Siobhán is a Brunswick East-based potter whose ceramics journey began with a Beginner Wheel Throwing course at Northcote Pottery Supplies. After years of developing her skills, she joined NPS as a tutor in 2021.
Gillian Martin

Gillian Martin

Gillian is a Melbourne-based artist and ceramicist with many years of experience creating and exhibiting her work. She also worked in photography before returning to her passion for ceramics. Her current practice explores the relationship between bold colour and texture, with vibrant stripes and tactile surfaces.
Ruby-Jean Whitehead

Ruby-Jean Whitehead

Ruby-Jean discovered clay eight years ago, beginning with a simple hobby that soon flourished into a thriving small business. Her creative journey deepened through the completion of a Diploma of Ceramics, and has since grown to encompass both teaching and exhibiting.
