In Kids Clay Studio, Kate Butler will share a range of basic hand-building methods to guide kids in creating their own unique ceramic, working independently with one-on-one guidance. Kids will learn methods for creating a variety of pottery projects from an animal, to a house, a decorative vase, or even a set of cups! This workshop is the perfect place for kids to explore clay and create something unique to their interests - you are encouraged to bring your own project ideas to the workshop too!
We will then fire and glaze your creations to take home at a later date. Caregivers are welcome to book in and make too – but please note that the studio is very small so you are not able to join in the activity unless you book yourself a place. You are also welcome to drop off your child, and return just before the end of class for pick up
Please note minimum age requirement for this class is 5 years of age. Participants who are not of age will not be permitted to take part in the class and will not be refunded.
**Accessibility Note: This class is held in our upstairs studio which is only accessible by two flights of stairs.
