Are you a ceramics newbie and curious about clay? Then this workshop is perfect for you!
Our experienced tutor Ella will introduce you to a variety of simple handbuilding techniques as you learn to explore and play in the world of pottery. This class is the best way to discover your creative side in a supportive and inspiring environment, and by the end of the session you will have created two to three pieces to be glazed and taken home at a later date! So grab some friends, or come along to make some new ones in the wonderful world of clay.
The workshop includes all clay, materials and tools, and the firing and glazing of 1-3 pieces each.
*Handbuilding 101 is for adults aged 18+ only. Teenagers aged 11+ may attend if they are booked in with a participating adult. Participants who do not the minimum age requirements will not be permitted to take part in the class and no refunds are available on the day.
**Accessibility Note: This class is held in our upstairs studio which is only accessible by two flights of stairs.
