Children's Wheel Throwing - 9th April 12:00-1:30pm

$50.00
Are your children looking for some school holiday fun and creativity? In this 1.5 hour activity children (aged 8-14)* can learn how to create forms on the potter’s wheel. Guided by our experienced tutor, children will get a feel for how the wheel works, learn how to centre clay and how to create their own masterpiece! The wheel throwing process will be demonstrated and each child will be given individual assistance to help them along the way.

Work created during the class will be glazed and fired by NPS staff and ready for collection within 2-3 weeks.

Parents and guardians will be emailed when work is ready for collection. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay during the activity or can enjoy a coffee or tea on Lygon Street, a short stroll away. This class will have a maximum of 10 students.

*Please note that 8 years is the minimum age requirement for children attending this class.
Please bring along an apron and towel for your children. Covered shoes are essential in the studio. STUDENT TESTIMONIAL

LISA, 10 April 2016
My 8 year old daughter was so excited to try wheel throwing! She wouldn't stop talking about it after the class. She had so much fun. My eldest daughter is so upset that she didn't do it too. Will definitely bring both my girls back. Thank you!

Please note that a minimum of five people are required to run courses and one-day workshops. Northcote Pottery Supplies reserves the right to cancel a class if the minimum number of bookings is not reached. You will be notified at least one week prior to the class if cancellation is deemed necessary.
