Take your bowl-making skills to the next level in this focused wheel-throwing workshop! Designed for potters with some experience on the wheel, this session will help you refine your technique, improve consistency, and gain confidence in creating beautifully proportioned bowls.
You’ll learn how to center and control clay for optimal bowl shapes, achieve even walls and balanced curves, improve lift and efficiency for taller or wider bowls, and troubleshoot common pitfalls to refine your technique. Whether you struggle with thin walls, wobbly rims, or achieving a consistent shape, this workshop will give you the tools to throw bowls with confidence.
You will also get to keep two pieces which will be glazed in a colour of your choice and fired by us. All clay, tools and firing included - no hidden extra costs!
*Workshops are for adults aged 18+ only. Teenagers aged 11+ may attend if they are booked in with a participating adult. Participants who do not the minimum age requirements will not be permitted to take part in the class and no refunds are available on the day.
