In Teens Clay Studio, Kate Butler will share a range of basic handbuilding methods to guide teens in creating their own unique ceramic piece. Kate will share methods for creating a variety of pottery projects from a set of cups, an abstract sculpture, a decorative vase, or even a clay portrait! This workshop is the perfect place for teens to explore clay and create something unique to their interests - you are encouraged to bring in your own project ideas to the workshop too!
We will then fire and glaze your creations to take home at a later date. Caregivers are welcome to book in and make – but please note that the studio is very small so you are not able to join in the activity unless you book yourself a place. You are also welcome to drop off your child, and return just before the end of class for pick up.
Please note minimum age requirement for this class is 11 years of age. Participants who are not of age will not be permitted to take part in the class and will not be refunded.
**Accessibility Note: This class is held in our upstairs studio which is only accessible by two flights of stairs.
