2 hour session
Age: 5+
Tutor: Adele Macer
Get ready to buzz with creativity! In this fun, hands-on ceramic workshop, kids will design and make their very own bee-themed bowl using clay, texture, and imagination. Students will learn basic hand-building techniques to shape a small bowl then explore surface decoration inspired by bees, honeycomb patterns, flowers, and nature. From carved lines and pressed textures to tiny sculpted bees, each bowl will be completely unique. This workshop is all about play, creativity, and confidence with clay—no prior experience needed. Once fired and glazed, bowls will be food-safe and perfect for snacks, trinkets, or treasures. Every bee bowl is different—just like its maker!
The cost of this class includes all clay, tools and materials, plus glazing and firing by NPS staff.
Caregivers are welcome to book in and make too - but please note that the studio is very small so you are not able to join in the activity unless you book yourself a place. It's a wonderful opportunity to create something alongside your child. You are also welcome to drop off your child, and return just before the end of class for pick up.
Please note minimum age requirement for this class is 5 years of age. Participants who are not of age will not be permitted to take part in the class and will not be refunded.
