Lustres are metallic solutions and should be fired to 750°C-800°C in an oxidation atmosphere with good kiln ventilation (bungs out for the first 300°C), preferably in an electric kiln. Kiln rooms should be well ventilated when lustre firing is taking place.
I love to use a lustre. Although I’m a bit of a novice and I seem to be using too much and it’s coming out gold and purple? Practice makes perfect they say. Purchase was simple and delivery very quick
