Try Glazing Pottery Workshop

Confident in your making skills but stumped by glazing? Our friendly tutors will get you straight on your underglaze, glaze and onglaze, with hands on demonstrations, test tiles and a latte cup to take home.

In this 2.5 hour session our experienced tutors will guide you through the difference between underglaze and glaze and advise which one to use to achieve the results you are after. You'll learn the tips to avoid common glazing issues, how to mix a commercial powdered glaze and try your hand at brushing, dipping and double dipping on supplied test tiles. By the end of the session you'll have a firm understanding of how to approach glazing your next piece PLUS a unique latte cup and test tiles to take home at a later date! All clay, tools and firing included - no hidden extra costs! 

Please note that this workshop is for adults aged 18+ only. Teenagers aged 11+ may attend if they are booked in with a participating adult. Participants who do not the minimum age requirements will not be permitted to take part in the class and no refunds are available on the day.
