Learn how to build bigger and better than ever before! In thisworkshop you will discover how to handbuild beautiful expressive forms with coils from our tutor and previous Guest Artist in Residence Ruby-Jean Whitehead. Explore Ruby's coiling techniques for creating larger vessel forms while maintaining strength and integrity, and push your skills to taller and wider shapes.
This is a 2-part workshop, designed to allow your vessels to firm up over a week to be ready to extend further in the next session. You will also get the opportunity to play with underglaze and textural decoration, and at the end of the final session your work will be glazed and fired by NPS, reading for you to take home in 3-4 weeks. All glaze materials, tools, and firing is included - no hidden costs.
You must be able to attend both sessions in order to book into this course.

*Workshops are for adults aged 18+ only. Teenagers aged 11+ may attend if they are booked in with a participating adult. Participants who do not the minimum age requirements will not be permitted to take part in the class and no refunds are available on the day.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
14 days or more before your workshop starts: You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund.
7–13 days before your workshop starts: You may cancel and receive a refund, less a 5% administration fee.
Within 7 days of the start date: No refund will be available.
Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule your booking 5 days or more before your workshop starts, subject to availability.

If you can no longer attend within the 7-day period, you are welcome to arrange for a friend or family member to take your place. Please contact us as soon as possible with their name and contact details so we can update the booking.
