Im enjoying this clay and making espresso cups
I use this clay for bowls and plates of various sizes.Usually only glazing the insides and leaving the rest unglazed.I use Variety of different coloured glaze,to what I think is good effect,really happy with this clay.
I find this to be a versatile clay with a light grey and speckle finish once fired. It pairs well with NPS midfire brush on glazes and suits my style of drawn on graphic images showing off underglazes colours well without drowning them out and clear glazes beautifully. I have used it for hand building and wheel work and find it very easy to work with - having the right amount of plasticity for both methods.
Looks beautiful as a background for underglazes.
I always get a good result at a hot cone 6.
