6-week Sculpture Pottery Course

6 x 2.5 hour session

This six week course will take your handbuilding skills to the next level! This class is perfect for both newer potters who want to explore what's next after pinch pots, and more experienced hand builders looking to extend their sculptural skills. 

In Term 3 Sculpture will focus on modelling a head, figurative sculpture, solid sculpted animals and working on the skills to create feathers, scales and fur. Let your imagination run wild and bring your ideas to life in clay!

In this course you will learn how to:

• Construct a structurally sound form 
• Effectively attach complex appendages
• Sculpt the human head
• Create a figurative sculpture
• Sculpt from solid clay
• Create intricate surface textures

We recommend you have done at least one handbuilding workshop or course prior, to ensure you can make the most of the content.

Each class will have a maximum of 10 students.  We can't wait to welcome you to the studio!
