A fine white 120#, mid-firing clay body.
It is excellent for throwing and other forming techniques.
At Orton Cone 6 it is vitrified and has excellent glaze fit.
Suitable for table ware.
Love this clay. I can use it on the wheel plus I can easily hand build with it. Has a wonderful creamy finish.
I have been used this clay for a couple years. Probably the best mid fire white clay I use atm.
The clay itself is great, but only 3 stars because of the travelling distance to pick it up in Campbelfield. Delivery can take 5 working days (!) and is too expensive. How about a warehouse in the south-east, like was originally proposed after NP bought Clayworks?
