  • Tuesday 11 July 11.30am – 1pm  (1 hour)

Class Description

Are your children looking for some school holiday fun and creativity?

In this 1.5 hour activity children (aged 8-14) can learn how to create forms on the potter's wheel. Guided by our experienced tutor, children will get a feel for how the wheel works, learn how to centre clay and how to create their own masterpiece! The wheel throwing process will be demonstrated and each child will be given individual assistance to help them along the way. Work created during the class will be glazed and fired by NPS staff and ready for collection within 2-3 weeks. Parents and guardians will be emailed when work is ready for collection. Parents are welcome to stay during the activity or can enjoy a coffee or tea on Lygon Street, a short stroll away. This class will have a maximum of 10 students.

Please bring along an apron and towel for your child/ren. Covered shoes are essential in the studio.
